Setting up Google Adsense

  • Learn
  1. Google has a lot to pay for you if you provide some space to Google for their ad.

Google Adsense is the most basic means of earning money by placing ads on different spaces (Header, Sidebar, In between blogs, footer) of your website.

You may have seen such ads while you visited a website searching for something and the ad shows up relevant products or services related to the blog or website you searched for.

These ads are placed by tons of advertisers who compete in google ads, compete for ad space, yes, your ad space,  to show their product or services to the people who visit your site. Well, only after you set up Google AdSense on your site.

Those advertisers pay a certain sum for the ad to google through google ads, which gets shown on your website and you get a certain commission on every ad clicked. That means, with more relevant ads for your audience, you have a chance to earn more money.

(Tip: Don’t mess up your website with ads everywhere or the audience will get annoyed every time they visit and lead the visitor to leave soon, which may increase the bounce rate of your site.)

  1. Start Affiliate Marketing

Affiliate marketing is quite popular among bloggers that are growing at a vast pace and most of the bloggers use this option to make a good source of income from their website.

This is also supposed to be the quickest way to make money from your website or blog but for that, you need to find affiliate program partners and set it up on your website and drive traffic to your website who are likely to click up the affiliate ad and turn into a sale.

Start by keyword research, know what the potential customer is searching for. It could be anything, either a digital or a physical product. This is the main thing you would need to carry out which will help you in finding the product for your audience. After you finalize your product that is likely to be bought by your audience that you would like to recommend, create a blog post describing its features, use and benefits for your audience. Then on your website, endorse the product and promote it through means like social media, your blog itself and email subscribers. If the product or service resonates with these peoples’ expectations, they’ll click on your affiliate link, purchasing the product (while you get a split of the sale price).

Some examples of affiliate marketing websites that you may be aware of or want to know before you start yours are,”

Remember, unless you define your product to the people clearly and do fine keyword research, expecting your income to flourish would be a silly thought. So, keeping all these in mind and carrying out your affiliate marketing, you can make a superfine earning.

  1. Seel your Ad space to other agencies or companies: This is particularly renting space on your website for the ad of a particular company. Well, this may seem similar to Google AdSense but the difference is, you can custom place the ad wherever you like on your website with a custom size. Also, here is something else you need to work on.

Searching for the advertiser who is willing to advertise their product by paying a certain amount for the ad space price is what’s required here where you negotiate for the best price on the basis of traffic you receive. It’s not that hard as people seek different ways to advertise their business in different places and your site could be the best for them.

We all know that, If a product or service is placed as an ad on a website for its exposure to the audience, it has a high chance of being utilized by visitors who visit the site.

Companies who want to advertise their service or product will approach you to make a deal with you where you negotiate for a certain sum for placing the ad. It can be anywhere on the page (Header, Footer, Sidebar, In between blogs). They will either pay you for each sale you make from it or click you make (Pay Per Click) through your website or pay you on monthly basis.

If your website visits a bunch of traffic monthly, then you can contact companies that sell different products or services or you could find advertisers based on your niche i.e. If you have a tech website, contacting an electronics and gadget seller would be better to place their ad on your site, a blog giving lessons of website building could place an ad of a domain or hosting provider to increase the chances of getting the ad clicked.

Some examples You can see websites renting their ad space.

You can differentiate between a rented ad and a google ad with the help of a cross and google ads sign on the top right of the ad which is only visible on ads placed by google but not in an ad shown on a rented space. ………………..
